Stuart Groom has more than 20 years of financial and general management experience. He has held positions of General Manager of manufacturing companies and has a successful record of achievement in startup, expansion, turnaround, and crisis management in highly competitive environments. After becoming a qualified Chemical Engineer, Stuart transitioned to Finance and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross in London, England. Rising through the ranks of Schlumberger (SLB) to US Division Controller, he took the position of CFO of a troubled public company. In this role, he established credibility with banks and successfully led the company through Chapter 11. After restructuring and four years of profitability, the company’s ownership changed. Stuart is now applying his in-depth knowledge of accounting, finance and operations to help others in search of new opportunities.
