Account Manager - Hempstead, NY - Job Code JCS4240


Position Overview:

    Our globally recognized client has an exciting career opportunity as an Account Executive for their growing team of front-line sales representatives. In this position, you will be responsible for building relationships with a group of customer sites within your territory, understand customer needs, negotiate solutions, while managing the customer experience for our client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience selling technical services, security and fire systems, or building automation solutions.

      Duties & Responsibilities:

        • Identify and report on market trends and provide forecast of demand to sales operations
        • Maintain existing customer relationships, provide technical trainings, webinars and seminars as needed to customer base
        • Attend industry events, trade shows, and seminars to maintain and expand technical knowledge and customer base
        • Maintain all account information and client specifications, understand and report customer needs and develop solutions to address those needs

          Minimum Qualifications:

            • Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
            • 4+ years’ Technical Sales experience, preferably within the building automation, construction or security industry
            • Extensive experience in B2B sales environment
            • Valid driver license
            • Strong negotiation skills are critical to this position
