Director of Sales – Enterprise Solutions

Our Fortune 100 client has an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Director of Sales. In this position you will manage a team of direct reports and will have responsibility over North America (Canada, US, Mexico). The ideal candidate for this position will have several years of experience managing and building sales teams, with proven success in selling enterprise software-based solutions. This position must sit in the Atlanta, GA area. Relocation assistance provided for highly qualified candidates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of progressive sales management experience
  • Strong background in selling SaaS/IoT solutions into large industrial and commercial customers
  • Proven experience in performance management, developing and executing strategies for sales growth across multiple geographies and industries

Scope:

  • Manage, mentor and continuously build outside sales team within the territory, while supporting the success of local inside sales team members
  • Support customer acquisition sales strategies, drive direct software sales and enable your team to exceed annual orders and revenue plans for SaaS/IoT portfolio offerings
  • Responsible for holding regional teams accountable for new business and quota attainment for both new customers and existing customer renewals and migrations.
  • Work closely with marketing, technology and direct partner leadership teams on market positioning and sales growth strategies
  • Responsible for developing and tracking global forecasts of new licensing agreements within SaaS portfolio. Analyze, forecast and report findings to VP of Sales.
  • Utilize understanding of P&L to build business cases for sales growth investments and strategy execution across the Americas.
